  • Description: Provides veterans in need of housing and a hand up. Residents receive the services and support they need to learn how to become self-sufficient in civilian life. The apartment complex offers transitional housing for 52 people, along with veteran-specific services including case management, mental health services, educational assistance, food and nutrition assistance, healthcare, legal services, job training, and employment placement.

  • Eligibility: - Veterans: 18-62 years, Children: 12 years and younger (at the time of admission), Couples must be legally married, College students must be enrolled full-time and receiving Veterans Affairs (VA) school benefits; Must be physically, mentally and legally able to work without restrictions; Must not receive any government assistance including Supplemental Security Income (SSI) (if retired, can continue to receive SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), CalFresh, General Relief, and Cash Aid; No drugs, alcohol, or nicotine while in the program (drug/alcohol screen required); Agree to a voluntary work assignment during the first 3 phases of the program for no financial compensation; Must pass background check (no violent, sex, or arson crimes); Participation in religious studies is required; Must be medical compliant; No visitors for the first 30 days except during church services on Sundays and you can not leave campus without an escort for at least the first 90 days; No cell phone, cash, credit cards, or vehicle for the first 3 phases of the program (house phone is available for personal calls) with the exception of college students
